Living the brand – turning values into behaviours

An essential ingredient to managing your customer experience is about engaging your people in a way that is very different from most organisations; making them ambassadors for your brand. However many people talk about ‘living the brand’; few know how to do it.

Many organisations claim to have determined a clear set of brand values and communicated this to their people. However in their heart of hearts many know that these values are basically little different to those of other organisations; nor have they been able to to turn these values into something meaningful for their people or into brand behaviors that truly differentiate them in the eyes of their customers.

As part of our customer experience work around the world, we’re frequently asked to help organisations turn ‘bland’ values into brand values – values that are meaningful to both customers and employees – and to energize and engage their employees to ’live the brand’ and translate these values into a differentiated customer experience?

Our key speaker on this topic is Shaun Smith, who’s main passion is to speak at events, where he can inspire an organisation’s people and create the urgency to deliver a distinctive customer experience. He can also help you design your event to ensure that your content, structure, style and presenters are optimized to deliver maxim impact and achieve your objectives.

Shaun’s message was spot on. Getting staff to own and live the brand, and creating a ‘brand community’ is something I have been encouraging; it was reassuring to hear Shaun deliver the same message and will help to get buy-in from our senior managers and staff. The majority of our delegates rated Shaun’s session as the aspect of the day which was most interesting and useful to them at work.
